Yupoo is a Chinese image-hosting platform where wholesale sellers publish their catalogs. Buyers see thumbnail galleries and message the seller directly (usually via WhatsApp or WeChat). Yupoo itself is not a checkout — it's a catalog. This guide walks the full order flow.
What Yupoo actually is
Yupoo (also written 又拍 in Chinese) is a Chinese image-hosting platform launched in 2013 for wholesale sellers to publish product catalogs. Sellers create albums, upload product photos, and share the album link with buyers. Yupoo itself is NOT a marketplace — there's no add-to-cart, no checkout, no payment processing. Buyers see photos, contact the seller directly (usually via WhatsApp or WeChat), and negotiate/pay outside Yupoo.
For rep watch buyers, Yupoo means: "I'm looking at a wholesale seller's Chinese-language visual catalog. I'll DM them for prices."
Step 1 — Find a trusted seller
Yupoo albums are only useful if you have the seller's contact. Ways to get trusted rep watch seller contacts:
- Reddit r/RepTime — the trusted-dealer list is the industry reference. Cross-verify on r/RepLadies for smaller-wrist buyers.
- Established rep watch info sites (RWG, RWI) — these forums vet dealers with year-long member reviews.
- Established rep watch retail sites like ours — we've been doing this since 2019, 25,000+ parcels, WhatsApp responsive.
Red flags: sellers with no online reputation history, sellers who ask for full payment before showing you the watch photo, sellers who don't have WhatsApp (Chinese sellers who only use WeChat are OK if you're comfortable with WeChat, but that's a language barrier).
Step 2 — Browse the Yupoo album
Once you have a Yupoo album link (or in our case, a Yupoo-style catalog on our own site), scroll through and note the batches you like. Each product is usually 3-15 photos showing dial detail, case-back, bracelet, and comparison to a reference photo of the genuine.
Prices are usually NOT listed on Yupoo albums — this is intentional. Prices vary by batch (Clean vs BF for the same reference), and Chinese sellers negotiate. Note the album/photo number, don't worry about price yet.
Step 3 — WhatsApp with your list
Message the seller with: (1) the reference photos or batch names you're interested in, (2) your wrist size in inches, (3) your shipping country. Standard reply within 24 hours (we reply in a few hours) with: batch factory name (Clean / VSF / PPF / KV / BF), current price in USD, DHL cost to your country.
Step 4 — Negotiation and payment
For single-piece purchases, prices are usually fixed by the seller (competition between rep dealers has compressed margins). For multi-piece orders (3+), most sellers offer free shipping. For bulk (10+), some sellers offer 5-10% discount.
Payment methods vary by seller — commonly: PayPal Friends & Family, Wise, USDT (crypto), Zelle (US), Western Union. Chinese sellers may also accept WeChat Pay if you're set up. Avoid: sellers who only accept Western Union (harder to trace if something goes wrong).
Step 5 — QC video (critical)
Before shipping, ask for a QC (quality check) video — a 30-second phone video showing the actual watch you're getting. Established sellers do this as standard. This is the moment to catch: wrong color, wrong batch, defects, missing items. If you accept the QC, the seller ships. If you reject, they swap or refund.
Step 6 — Shipping and customs
Standard shipping is DHL Express for US/EU (6-12 days), UPS or FedEx for backup. Package is declared as "digital sport wrist device" or "metal wrist accessory" at $25-35 declared value — this keeps customs duties low and doesn't flag rep terms.
Customs seizure rates in 2026: US ~0.5%, UK ~2%, Germany ~3%, Netherlands ~3%, France ~1%, Canada ~1%, Australia ~1%. If seized, reputable sellers offer 50% credit toward a re-ship. Full refund is not standard for seizure (customs risk is buyer-side once shipped).
